Method and more

Years are UTC calendar years. The first and last close are the closes of the year's first and last stored daily candle, and the change runs from one to the other. The high and the low are the highest and lowest price of any daily candle in the year. Weekly candles run from Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday and are built from the daily ones; a weekly flip is counted in the year of its week's last day. The weekly trend is the site's published rule for Bitcoin: Supertrend with a length of 10 and a factor of 3, on closed weekly candles. The share of bullish weeks counts the weeks whose trend had settled.

Every weekly flip, with what the price did 7, 30 and 90 days later, is in the report Every Bitcoin weekly trend flip since 2018, and what happened next. Bitcoin's trend on every candle size today is on Bitcoin's page, and the record of every coin's flips is the track record. The words are explained in the glossary.
