A trend map for crypto.
MarketRender shows whether the whole crypto market and each of the largest coins is bullish or bearish on 4-hour, daily, weekly and monthly candles, in US dollars and in Bitcoin. It uses fixed, published rules and keeps a public record of every flip, so you can check what the price did after each one.

What you can check
The site has four parts. Each example below is live: it is read from the same data as the pages.
- 1. Market overview
Is the market bull or bear?
One score from −100 to +100 for the whole market, on four candle sizes. It blends Bitcoin, the altcoins and breadth: how many of the 100 largest coins have a bull score. The overview also shows Bitcoin's weekly trend over the years and every flip of the last seven days.

88 of the 100 largest coins we score have a bull score on the day; 4 early scores are counted apart.
- 2. Scanner
Every top coin, scored by the same rules.
The scanner lists the coins we score by market size, each with its trend score on every candle size, its last weekly flip and how far its price is from the level that would flip it. Switch between US dollars and Bitcoin, or show only the coins that flipped this week.

- 3. Coin pages
See exactly where a trend would flip.
Each coin has a flip level: the price at which a closed candle would turn its trend. A coin's page shows the price against that level, a chart with every flip marked, and where the coin stands against the dollar and against Bitcoin.

Every flip recorded. Never edited.
A flip is written when its candle closes and is never changed afterwards. For each one, the track record shows what the price did 7, 30 and 90 days later, next to what it did on ordinary days, with the caveats that come with it.

How it works
The rules behind every score, flip and record on the site.
Fixed, published rules
Every coin and every candle size is scored the same way. A change to a rule gets a new version and the whole history is worked out again under it; the records made under the old version stay.
Closed candles only
A trend can only flip when a candle closes, never in the middle of one. A flip is dated by the last day of its candle, which for a weekly candle is a Sunday.
A record that cannot be tidied up
The database refuses to change or delete a flip once it is written, so flips that turned out badly stay in the record next to the ones that turned out well.
In US dollars and in Bitcoin
Coins are measured against the dollar and, where there is enough data, against Bitcoin, so you can tell a coin that rises on its own from one that only rises with the market.
Worked out again every 4 hours
After every 4-hour candle closes, prices are read from the exchanges and every score is worked out again. Weekly and monthly candles are built from the daily ones.
Tested, and the tests are shown
We tested the rules' settings on years of history and publish what we found, including where the evidence is thin. It is on the track record under "What we tested".
What it is not
- Not investment advice. A bullish or bearish label is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
- Not a forecast. The scores describe the trend now and the record describes the past.
- Not an exchange, broker or wallet. We never hold money or assets and never trade for anyone.
- No text written by AI. Every sentence is fixed wording or is built from the numbers by fixed rules.
The full wording is in the disclaimer and the terms of use; every data source is credited on the attribution page.
